The original Cover Loom board
Nine independent fair bits determine the occupied cells of a 3×3 board, so its 512 possible boards are equally likely. The raw reward is the fewest row and column lines needed to cover every occupied cell. This equals the largest set of occupied cells that use distinct rows and distinct columns: the maximum bipartite matching size.
An empty board scores zero. Occupied cells confined to one row score one. Three occupied diagonal cells score three. A complete board also scores three, rather than one reward for every lit cell or line. The displayed gold inset marks an actual minimum line cover. No separate pay lines divide the stake.
Virtual coins and manual refill
The initial wallet contains 1,000 free virtual coins with no monetary value. Settled balance and fractional payout carry persist in this browser’s localStorage.
